how can i partition tables in sqlserver2005

hello        how can i partition  tables in sqlserver2005     I have two tables , with 20 lacks records     Now i want to partitioned these two tables ...   1> How can i partition these tbales  with out data loss 2> Its  production db , if its possible for partitioning table with 20 lacks records 3> till now Mydb have only one file-group ie: primary one 4>if u suggest hw can i do prerequisites before partitioning tables ...
