I have a login control where I authenticate the login process and if the any of the user id or password is wrong, an error message is displayed saying 'Wrong User Id or password.'. Now when I just click the login button without entering any user id or password, the validation controls start to work and show the asterisk symbols. This is fine but the previous error message still exists when the asterisks are shown. Is there any solution to have the previous error message suppressed?
