With the following .CSS file, I've got the 5 sections of a page arranged as I want. Using "absolute" seems so easy it's almost like cheating (as opposed to using the div style "float" attribute). Are there any "gotchas" to using position:absolute, or is this safe?

    background-color:White;
}

#div2
{
    position:absolute;
    left:0px;
    top:100px;
    width:200px;
    height:480px;
    padding:10px;
    background-color:Aqua;
}

#div3
{
