Hey all,
I'm trying to use Maxmind's GeoLite City application. I'm interested in using their binary version, rather than trying to use their CSV/database version.
They have APIs for this, but not for VB.net, which is what I use. I've asked them, and they suggested I use the MS COM API. I've never used COM objects before, and I understand (after researching them) that they are somewhat outdated...
However, I don't think I have a choice in this case. I've downloaded the appropriate files, and installed them on my PC. I'm stuck where to go from here...
Has anyone ever used GeoLite City before? Can someone point me in the right direction of how to utilize COM objects/wrappers in VB.net?
