I have a web page which is using a masterpage. Inside my page resides an IFrame which is reading page Messages.Aspx. My page Messages.aspx has a listview. This list view has a repeater inside it. My major issue the load time of the page which takes 5 seconds in the first run and 2.8 seconds in the 2nd run. I need to reduce that time to 1.8 seconds. I am using Object Data sources for both; listview and repeaters. The situation is that; my listview loads exactly 10 items; and my repeater loads only two items per ListView Item. My project uses the three tiers approach; Data Access Layer and Business Logic Layer. I am doing the databinding on my Listview on the Page Load event. And the databinding of my repeaters take place on the ListViewItemDatabound Event. If I simply comment the databinding of my Repeaters, my Page load time drops to less than one Second.
