removing the second part from DateTime

How to remove the second from the DateTime that im get from my database im currently geting in this format MM/DD/YYYY HH:mm:ss AM & i want to display like MM/DD/YYYY HH:mm AM and DD/MM/YYYY HH:mm AM and dd-mm-yyyy HH:mm AM
