Display Long Text with CR/LF

Hi,
How can I show long text I saved in database table on a control that will preserve/display the CR or LF tags correctly? What control should I use?

I used textbox (multiline) but it cannot expand the height dynamically according to the length of the text. Instead, it gives me a vertical scrollbar. I don't want it. I used label but it cannot display the CR or LF, hence all text are concanated, ignoring the CR or LF tags.
How about if I want to display long text formatted with HTML tags? What control I should use?
