How to get hidden field value(modified on client side) when user clicks on Broswer Refresh.
I have a web form with 4 sections which are visible one at a time as per user selection. This sections are anchors and set visible through JQuery.
I store id of visible section in hidden field. Now when Page loads by default section 1 is visible. Now user selects 2nd section(No Post back happens) I store value in hidden field. User clicks on browser refresh. In this case I would like to set section 2 visible. But hidden field value is not available on server side.
I thought of using cookies but in that case if cookie not expired when application closes and user comes back his last selection will be displayed.
and that not what I want.
Any thoughts ...
