using a basic scriptmanager implementation here, calling webservices from javascript.
i've had this functionality in production for 2 years humming with no problems, but noticed something shocking today. The callback function gets called twice. I stepped in to the server method being called, and that is only called once. I am not sure how long this has been going on. I recently upgraded asp.net ajax from 1.0 to latest.. (3.5). Not sure if that started causing double call back..
my basic javascript implementation
callFunction() {
// this gets called only once.
namespace.app.MyServerService(arguments, myCallbackFunction, errorLogerFunction);
}
myCallbackFunction( returnArguments ) {
alert( 'called back'); // this line executes twice
}
any ideas?
