Hello,
I have a Calendar control. The DayRender event changes the CssClass of
the cell to "selected" if it is equal to the SelectedDate so that it looks different.
This works fine when a user clicks on a date.
However, I use an event fired by another control to programatically change the SelectedDate of the Calendar. When the other control's event fires (and it definitely does, because I put a breakpoint on it) the SelectedDate of the Calendar is changed, but it does not affect how the Calendar is rendered on the client. Thus, no DayRender event happens and the CssClass of the cell isn't changed. Therefore, the user cannot see that he has affected the date selected on the Calendar.
Why is that please?
How can I get around it? I need the SelectedDate to be clearly visible no matter whether it is changed programatically by another control or by interacting directly with the user.
Any ideas are much appreciated. ...
