I have a .aspx page that I pull up with a querystring like so - example.aspx?param=xyz
This page has a form control and a button control to postback the form. Under .Net 2.0, the page posts back to the same url+querystring combination used to pull the page up, example.aspx?param=xyz.
But after I install .Net 3.5 SP1, the postback no longer posts back to the url+querystring combination. It only posts back to the url, example.aspx, as specified in the action attribute of the form control. I.e. the querystring is not part of the action url.
Anyone else notice a change like this? All I did was install the 3.5 in preparation for installing VS2008.
I assume it has something to do with updates it performs on the 2.0 framework.
If I uninstall 3.5, the new behavior still remains. Only until I uninstall 3.5 and then uninstall/reinstall 2.0 does the form begin posting again to the url+querystring.
