I installed SQL Express 2008R2 and SQL Express 2012 on a Virtual Windows 2008 R2 Server.
I installed VS 2010 on a Virtual Windows 7 installation.
Both, the Windows 2008 R2 Server and Virtual Windows 7 are running on the same HOST (Windows 2008 R2 Server, Hyper V).
I am trying to make a database connection from Visual Studio to the SQL Express 2008R2 instance, but it is not working. I get the following error:
