Hello members ... i'm developing a social networking website (like orkut) ... their i wanna hide certain personal information of da user depending on his choice.
e.g. if a user wants dat his email id should only be visible to his frnds (or members in his frnd list) ... then no other users (except his frnds) should be able to see his email when they visit his profile home page ... similarly if a user wants dat neither his frnds nor other members should be able to see his age ... then it becomes invisible to all da members of da website.
Now prob is dat i've a a page named ShowProfile.aspx which takes uid (user id) as querystr input .... if uid matches with da uid of da person who is currently logged in, then it means dat user is opening his own profile .. so all da info should be visible
In 2nd case if uid does not matches with da uid of currently logged in person, then i'll query da database whether da input uid is in da frnd-list of ...
