I am developing a site which uses https. I have implemented the protocol-less references to links in my site to eliminate the "mixed content message":

(see: http://encosia.com/2011/01/19/cripple-the-google-cdns-caching-with-a-single-character/#comment-43099 for more about this issue)
I am still getting the "mixed content message
as well: I am getting CSS complaints about zoom, opacity, overflow-z, inherit and filter. Also @ block is now not recognized. These errors were generated compile errors in VS 2008. Any ideas on eliminating them, and why the protocoless references would cause these errors?
