Hi All,
Just wondering if you can help and advise in the design of my ASP.NET Web Application.
At present I have a working asp.net web server application that contains a 5second UpdatePanel which accesses a C++ DLL to retrieve data on each update and stores the data in a session and then displays the data on the page via GridViews (processing is all server-side)
I am just trying to understand how the server copes with multiple clients requests when accessing the DLL. The WebServer runs in its own self contained network but I am seeing clients display drastically different data which cannot be related to mismatch in update rates.
From my understanding of the ASP.NET Page Lifecycle IIS handles the multiple threading behind the scenes but am worried how the DLL is accessed when the server is handling multiple requests.
Does the server to run one thread which accesses the DLL and stores the data centrally from which all client request pages are so ...

Go to the complete details ...
