Im trying to create a page to search a database.  The difficult part is to search the one field that contains an array saved as a string.  "colors" contains
a string of colors seperated by a comma (ie.  red, gold, green)

It seems I need to:

1. Return all rows from the table so that each record's "colors" string value can be seperated into an array an searched for matches with a for loop.
2. Keep track of which records contain matches so that they can be further searched for matches in other fields.
3. Create a new query to return the final matches using all search criteria.

Im not sure how to actually go about coding this.  Im using c#.  Does anyone know of any tutorials that address this issue?  If not, can anyone offer a simple explaination that might get going in the right direction?
