I trying to create dataentry form in asp.net using Visual web developer.
I have created 2 table in sql database one which has raw dump and the other has agent name and manager name of respective name.
With the help of sql table have created dataset for agent.
In Visual web developer data << form view have used raw dump as data source where entry has to go.
After that have edited the insertitem section and changed it to dropdownlist with data source as agent record table . in this dropdownlist have selected only agent column . It is displaying the way it is required and inserting the data accordingly.
Now im trying develop link between the agents manager and agent, so when agent name is selected the manager name in the corresponding column of agent record table should get populated.in the text box of insert item section . I have tried this with dropdownlist it does work but the manager name is not getting inserted in the raw d ...
