Error creating users

 I'm trying to get membership services working on a remote server.  I managed to get the database tables and stored procedures installed and can connect to it using ASP.Net configuration in VisualStudio.  I can create new roles and access rules but not users.  When I click on create new user I get; An error was encountered. Please return to the previous page and try again.  The vital peices from my web.config are below.  Am I missing anything?
