cannot access https secure website

i have my company website running in a local intranet, and i would like to run it in a secure https network, and i configure it in webserver IIS6.0 - default website-> properties-> under the directory security tab-> secure communication-> edit
i have enable the SSL checkbox , select the encypt 128 bit and enable 'accept client certificcate', but why it couldn't access to my website  e.g  https://servername/store/index.aspx ?  it comes out error"the page cannot be display" ..

Is it because of i didn't obtain a server certificate?  or i missed out any configuration?
