I hope this is the right forum for this, otherwise I appologize.
I have some questions about Roles and the usage of them. Lets say we have två entities in our domain. Suppliers and Customers. A customer can have one supplier and a supplier can have many customers.
I define two roles
* Customer
* Supplier
All good so far...
BUT if I want to add another layer of permissions, like SupplierBasic and SupplierAdmin and tie it to different entities. That is one user can be SupplierBasic for one supplier and SupplierAdmin for another.
The way I solved it today is to have a two level role system. Role->Function-> <maps to entity> (I called it function, but the correct term might be permission?)
But I'm sure there is a pattern for this, and I would just like to get a pointer in the right direction.
Please tell me to clarify if my ramblings aren't clear e ...
