Evening/Morning!
I would like to know what the best way is to display an update message once the users click the save button, which then updates some data in the database.
Basically once the user clicks the button and the DB has been updated i would like to display a message on the page to let them know it updated, can someone please help?
I have used ClientScript.RegisterStartupScript(this.GetType(), "Alert", "Message stored successfully...");
on the button click event, which has been displaying a text message at the bottom of the page. Obviously i would like to display it elsewhere? All help would be much appreciated. thanks in advance :)
