date validation thru javascript

 

 

hii all,

          i've a field of cheque issue date, the cheque shud not be older than 6 months , so i need to validate the cheque issue date with javascript...

suppose user is entering a cheque issue date like 15/01/2008, so it shud not be entered into the database because cheque is older than 6 months.

if any1 knows then plz tell me...
