I have two web pages.
Page 1 captures a var and stores in a session.
This is done in a gridview rowdatabinding event, if that makes a difference.
Page 2 is accessed through a hyperlink whose navagateURL is set to www.page2.com.
Page two has a detailview, an objectdata source pointing to the same database as Page 1,
and a session parameter set to the name of the session var.
My problem is that when I click on the link in page 1 it takes to a record in page 2 ok but,
the record should the same on chosen on Page 1 and it isn't.
The lookup method on page 2 is looking for an interger to be passed to it.
And what I don't understand is that simply by setting the paramter type in the objectdata source to Session the var is converted to an integer ?
