When the web site is opened, I'd like to get from some store a particular integer. This integer is incremented from different pages on the site. I want to store the incremented value so that it is available next time the site is opened.
I could put the integer in a data table, I know.
Could I put it in App_data (which I've never used) ?
What would the file look like in App_data. What would I write on default.aspx.vb to get hold of the value ?
