Can someone please explain to my why the following not works.
Global.asax.cs
// NEWS ROUTES routes.MapPageRoute("newsAll", "News", "~/Forms/Articles/Index.aspx"); routes.MapPageRoute("newsId", "News/{id}", "~/Forms/Articles/Single.aspx"); //ABOUT ROUTE routes.MapPageRoute("about", "About", "~/News/29");
What i want do is to get rid of dublicated code, so i want to use my already created Singel.aspx to show my About article. Not create a new file, named About.aspx, and use the same code again! But i just ends up with "Resource cannot be found" error. The route newsId are working so its nothing wrong with that code, so i must be something I dont just understand.
Hope some one have a good explaination to this behavior, i thougt that the routing just "mapped" the route name to another url or filepath but it seems not to ...

Go to the complete details ...
