im working on a site which has registration and am using the createuserwizard control. in this instance i have moved all the default aspnetdb provider tables into my database.
my customers table has a primary key of userid that links to the userid of the aspnet_user table, but within my stored procedure for adding my additional customer data im not sure how i get the userid that has been assigned by the system to the aspnet_user table. i am presuming the aspnet_user userid is assigned first, or will need to be, for me to somehow get it and populate my customers table primary key.

secondly when i come to use the administration tool to add roles, clicking on 'add roles' produces an error as its expecting to use the ASPNETDB table. ive amended the provider info in web config (site works ok) so is there an additional step i missed to inform the  administration tool that im using my own db?
thanks
