On a form, I retrieve some data and a textbox gets populated with the total number of records returned, which is correct. I then click a search button to return a subset of the data and the number of records returned is also correct. However, when I try to set txtTotal.Text to the value of the total records returned in the subset, the value doesn't change; it's still the value of the record total from the larger dataset. I thought setting AutoPostback=true on txtTotal might work, but it doesn't. It's probably something obvious that I'm missing so I hope the solution is easy. TIA
