I am working on a task to detect and stop 3rd party cookies dropped by our website. I noticed that at various points in our website code I can only see the cookies that are set by our domain. But, the browser cache shows several other cookies which are being served by various other domains. The requirements state that a user should be able to choose his cookie settings for our website to disallow categories of 3rd party cookies in compliance with the European Cookie Law.
The best site that seems to be doing this is bt.com.
Can someone provide me pointers on how to detect and stop 3rd party cookies from being served in accordance with a user's cookie setting for our ASP.NET website?
