* The Membership system is customised, in that it depends on a customised database.
* The symptom appears when a user attempts to navigate to a new page. They end up back at the Login Page and re-enter their UserName/Password combo.
* Other websites on the same server are giving me the same problem.
* It seems to me that the server has plenty available memory: 2Gb. The task manager shows that little over 1Gb is usually taken up. Right now, the largest processes are SqlServr.exe (~ 360Mb) and w3wp.exe (~ 181 Mb).
* I don't think the issue can be caused by the app pool recycling because just now it happened about 4 times to my test user within about 2 - 3 minutes.
* The event log is giving me no clues about the cause of the problem.
How can I trace the cause of this problem?
