I'm a newcomer to ASP NET and use ASP.NET 3.5, Visual Web Developer 2008 Express Edition with VB.
I have a page with image buttons for various sponsors of our club. I want click on the imagebutton to open a new browser window and then show the sponsor's website.
On our old website we did this with the javascript below

I could not see how to open a new browser window so as a test I tried to just display the sponsor site by using the imagebutton postback set as below
