hai everyone i need a slution for the following problem
that is when i press an edit button in gridview it will pass an id from gridview.aspx to the edit.aspx
then the edit.aspx page will retrive name and email id from the database through a stored procedure and assign it to two textboxes
txtname.text and txtemail.text , and it displays the values fine ...
the real problem occurs when i edit those values and submited . it use another stored procedure ,that works fine when only when the edit.aspx is loaded directly ,that means the edit.aspx is not loaded as a result of edit button...
okk when the submit button is clicked the values wont change . so i tried assigning the values to an adjacent label and enterd the data manually then it works .... what may be the reason... what should i do ... thanking you all for sparing this time for me .... happy coding
