I am currently in a low level data role full time and working evenings doing web design. I passed a degree in Graphic Design (speciality web design over a year ago). I have produced a few nice looking sites, using html, css & flash, but I really want to get into the ASP.net development side.
Many years ago at school I used to create simple database applications in Visual Basic (Forgotten it all now though) and I've played around with ActionScript and things like that. I'd say I'm reasonably good on computers.
I have been through a few of the ASP.net video tutorials, but always find myself getting more and more out of my depth as they progress. Should I learn C++ or VB first, or should I be starting somewhere else? I'm trying to work out where I should be beginning my learning.
