I had a problem copying a directory from my development directory (App_Code) to the remote directory via Copy Web Site | Local IIS. It copied over just fine, but when subsequently trying to access the updated site (outside of the IDE), there was an err msg about not being able to add that directory to a precompiled site.
So I added a copy of the unit in question (via "add an existing item") to the generic area of the solution - I simply added the unit beneath the App_Code directory, and then excluded the unit in the App_Code directory from the solution.
Now the units that referenced my moved unit cannot find it - the compiler complains that the using clause (using TerminalRepairUtils) that references that unit/namespace cannot be found:
The type or namespace name 'TermRepUtilities' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)
The namespace/class/etc. ...
