How to set FailureText on UserNameTemplate within PasswordRecovery control

Hi, I have a PasswordRecovery page with a UserNameTemplate, how can I set the "FailureText" from the codebehind in C#. I used to use UserNameInstructionText but when someone added this template that no longer works, I have manually added  the "hello world"text below so im sure thats what I want to update.
