I've made a management tool with classic Asp and Javascript and I'm looking on how I could make that again in asp.net, but I'm sorta clueless on how to.
I retrieve some data from a database and when the user click a button in a table row, it allows him to edit that row and then I upload the information via Javascript / another ASP page.
But that was quite annoying to make (the Javascript code) and I'm trying to figure if there's an easier way, perhaps without the Javascript, to let the user edit information on the table and then upload on the database.
A general idea of what I'll need and how is what I'm looking for, nothing too specific (I don't think I'd understand anyway) so if you can just point the way it's a big help.
