Double to string conversion

I have a textbox in which user can enter numeric values. The values that the user can enter can be huge, hence i need to store these values in double. But converting these huge numeric string values to double results in scientific notation. I need to maintain the numeric notation only without the exponential part. Any idea on how this can be achieved ?
