I want to allow a user to access only the files s/he purchases.
Is there a way to store all of my files in one directory, but allow allow access to a few of the files? Of course the files accessible would depend upon the user and would change whenever a user purchases a new file.
Finally, I'd like to store the information in a databse table and have my permissions based off of that somehow.
I'm using Visual Basic.net and SQL Server, but don't have access to my server (to grant permissions based upon Windows usernames and Active Directory). I am using shared hosting through GoDaddy.
Does anyone have any good ideas? Thanks in advance.
