Hello, I have this project where I am suppose to do an event list. The admin is able to enter all details of an event and display it in a gridview style in a website. The user is then able to choose which row to view the details and it will open to another page where the user is ask whether he wants to join or not. if yes, he is then ask to enter his email and memberid and click submit. after that an email is sent to him to properly confirm his acceptance. To store all this data i am using MS SQL 2008. I have a table for the event details, and a table for when the user will accept the event after he click the link in the email. The problem is I am suppose to also store the event id which is an auto unique number, whenever an event is upload . But i have no idea how to save the event id when the user clicks the link in his email. This is my code for the join page, where I extract the value of the title data and description of the event including the id event:
