Hide/show div problem

Hi i have a div set to display none and am using jquery to toggle show
Somtimes i will want the page to load with tyhe div showing  (on postback) rather than display 'none' on load.
I am not running the Div  @ runat"server" because this messes the jquery up..


I was thinking about perhaps using somthing like
