 Hi there!
In my app, the username is getting passed into the main page as a literal value so that it can be displayed as "you are logged in as: <asp:literal>". What I would like to do is, add an additional link depending on the username. So, I've tried two options which both are not working.
 1) Convert the literal to a string in order to do; uid=cstr(username) <% if uid=whatever then %> ...
 2) Compare the literal directly; <% if username=whatever then %> ...
I know this sort of defeats the purpose of using a literal, but I cannot modify any page but this one (where the literal is passed in). Any thoughts? Thanks !
