Hi. Im currently working on this custom membership provider to allow users to login.
When I inherits Inherits System.Web.Security.MembershipProvider, a lot of methods already so-called there for me fill in the codings.
Based on MY understanding, please correct me if I'm wrong:
1. I need not to implement every method, only just the method which my project required.
(example, I would need to validate user against my existing database, I would just implement that method.)
2. This membership provider should work with any other web application framework such as dotnetnuke and other framework?
3. What is the basic steps for me to do if I have already created a website, it just short of the lo ...
