Hi-
We are having "intermittent" performance issues with our SQL 2008 R2(Express) DB server.
We have 4GB of memory total in the Windows server 2003R2.
And have Max memory set to 3GB or and was already on the default setting(2147483647) - no effect.
Min Memory per query was set to default and raised to 2048.
Can't seem to pinpoint the problem - Iopretty sure it is the SQL server from using Perfmon - pages/sec(memory)
There is another SQL server 2005 running but it doesn;t appear to be taking any memory.
We run nightly checks and optimization in scheduled tasks using Express Maintenance - have been for awhile:
Integrity_Check
Rebuild_Indexes
Update_Statistics
Tried querying the DB for Processes/queries taking up - but, I am a newbie and can't seem to find any issues?
( Select * from sys.sysprocesses & order by cpu desc, memory, etc. )
Go to the complete details ...
