I have a site where I have some pages that I want anyone to access but others that only authenticated users should access once they have logged on. Right now I have membership turned on and have some menu items available for all users, some pages for logged on users and then a couple of meu items for admin users. Also have specific pages restricted in my web.config file for the admin users. This works great until the session times out. Once the session has timed out, results are unpredictable and old stale data shows up if the user had been viewing pages with security turned on.
Anyone have any suggestions on the best way to implement this type of security? Best bet for me would to have something happen when the session expires so I could clear everything
Any help is appreciated,
Allan Lindsay
