Autoformat color rendered differently

 I have a few pages that use master page.
I try to use autoformat to make them color consistent.
The pages I used grid view look fine. The autoformat color for gridviw look exactly in browser as in design winow.
But the pages that has detailviews all has problems with color rendering.
I set up the autoformat for detailview one color, I can see it displays correctly in design window, but when I view them in browser, the color all changed to quite different ones.
What could be wrong?
