I have the following dropdownlist :
<asp:DropDownList ID="SitePrefDropDownList" runat="server" AutoPostBack="true"
onselectedindexchanged="SitePrefDropDownList_SelectedIndexChanged">
<asp:ListItem Text="Professional" Value="Professional" />
<asp:ListItem Text="Colorful" Value="Colorful" />
</asp:DropDownList>
Why is the selected value lost on postback and dropdownlist is always set on the first item (Professional) ?
