Hi, I have a page that recieves a query string and based on that passed id it gets and submits data to and from the database. To decide if the query string came from a proper page I use Request.UrlReferrer.AbsolutePath to confirm that they properly came from the page that leads them to the page with query string. I was wondering if I am properly securing this by just checking the referring page or if there is still a security risk. Can a user mimmic the referring page?
