Hi. There have been questions about this in the past, but they are circa 2004 and I wonder if a new method has been developed.
I would like to be able to install a registry key and value on several client computers (I will have access to them) that would "authorize" them for a function of my website. Thus, I need my website's code to be able to read this registry value on client computers and enable the function only if it finds it.
Again, I am not looking for the website to write to the registry. I will do that "manually". But how about reading? Is this possible?
