pass status from one class to another

Hi

I have a windows form application that I really need help with, I know there is dedicated forums for windows forms but I have not received the help I need ed there so I try this forum too. I have 2 classes Class1.vb and Class2.vb. Class1 use a backgroundworker in order to make the UI response even when the time onsuming operation is working. I start the time consuming operation from class1 and all the time consuming operations take place in class2.vb, so I need tobe able to pass some status text from Class2.vb back to Class1 so I can show the user that something is happening.
