I have a logo jpg image that has a white canvas. I am thinking about making the image canvas transparent so I can overlay the image on any style of background.
I want to maintain as much color information in the image as possible. What are my image format options if I want to apply a transparent background to an image?
Also, are there any cross-browser compatability issues with transparent images or certain types of transparent images?
