dynamic checkboxes?

I have a need to create a list of checkboxes dynamically, and I need to be able to set the CSS Style for each checkbox.
I can get the display set up properly by using asp:Repeater and asp:Checkbox tags.  But how can I then use the items when someone clicks the submit button?  (I can't figure out how to get a handle to the form controls on my OnClick handler.)
